I am flat footed & have two 3/4 custom orthotics that give me arch. I don't need an insole w/ any arch. I want to replace my flat insoles in my dress shoes w/ a cushioned flat in sole. What would work best?

Asked by: Matt O
The Thin Fit has, unfortunately, been discontinued. For a completely flat, cushioned insole we recommend the Memory plus Lifestyle insole. The Sof Sole Memory Plus is constructed with our exclusive Sof Recall memory foam that conforms completely to your foot, providing unmatched comfort.

What insert would you recommend for arch support (med arch) for soccer cleats?

Asked by: Gerry
For a neutral arch participating in athletic activity such as soccer, we would recommend our Athlete insole. The Hydrologix moisture wicking technology helps keep feet dry while the foam material provides comfort and cushioning. There is also gel in the heel and forefoot areas to absorb shock in each foot strike. You can find this insole on our website here:

I overpronate and suffer from sesamoiditis. Which insoles should I use for my racquetball court shoe and hiking shoe?

Asked by: RobTX
We would recommend our AIRR Orthotic to help alleviate pain and provide cushioning in the forefoot area, while also providing stability for the foot.

In the past, I've used your canvas comfort women's trim to fit insole to replace my Nike Free insoles. I don't see the canvas comfort for women anywhere. Is there something comparable that you still carry?

Asked by: clickety clack
“The Canvas Comfort insoles are a discontinued item that we unfortunately no longer carry. The most similar insole would be our Thin Fit insole.”

can you help me out? i m looking for an insole to help with extended periods of sanding on concrete. do you need to remove the insole from your current shoe before inserting the insole or can you simply place it in the current shoe. thanks

Asked by: looking for help
We generally recommend removing the factory insole in your shoe, if you can, and replacing it with your Sof Sole insole. Because of the amount of standing you do, you may want an insole with more cushion than the Thin Fit, such as the Airr or the Athlete insoles. The Airr has a slimmer design, but it still provides all day comfort and support. The Athlete provides cushioning as well as shock absorption.

Use Fit High Arch in every shoe however sneakers and dress shoes are becoming so low profile that the entire shoe is ballooning; I need a very THIN insole to reduce overall BULK. Goal is the arch support of the Fit High Arch, suggestions? Cheers!

Asked by: EPro
We unfortunately do not have a thin insole with the same support as the Fit High Arch. We would recommend trying the Plantar Fascia insole which comes in a ¾ length. You would still have rigid support and with the shorter length, it would take up less room in your shoe.

Are any of your insoles zero drop (like for Altras)?

Asked by: Slawco
The only insoles we have with a zero drop are our Memory Plus insoles.

Thin_Fit is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breakdown of materials in less than three months I ordered these for my cleats and they fit and feel amazing but they had a hole burned through the heel in less than three months because of the design of the heel. If you are using these for light running or something not super impact heavy then they should suit you fine. But if you are using them for cleats or for something that will put strain on your insoles then these are not a good buy. With the photo's below you can see where the design has a hole where your heel strikes and after a few months the materials failed and it started to disintegrate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Insole I Have Ever Owned SofSol is the most people oriented insole manufacturer in the world. I have searched for years for an insole compatible with not just my shoe but my orthotics as well and also for an insole for just general use. SofSol makes it. I have tried MANY other brands and always felt like I was compromising on the fit in some way. And the is the best to describe SofSol insoles. No compromises. I love the products. Thanks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best these are the best replacement insole. and, i have bought a lot of insoles during the 30 years that i have been hiking. these insoles are my favorites. they are firm, thin, and don't change the fit of the shoe much. since they don't have an arch, they don't create a fit problem with the arch. i have these insoles in 4 pairs of shoes that i use for hiking and long walks
