Our Water Proofer is safe to use on suede and nubuck materials and is ideal for use on shoes, boots, hats, jackets and other apparel items. If your shoes have an unusual material, we would recommend reaching out to the original manufacturer to see if they would recommend using our product to treat them. If you do decide to use our product, as always, we recommend applying it to a small inconspicuous area and letting fully dry before applying to the entire product.

Is it safe to use on white leather shoes?

Asked by: Ep123
This product can be used on genuine leather shoes but is not recommended for use on vinyl or patent leather. We always suggest reaching out to the original manufacturer of the shoes to see if they would recommend using our product. If you do decide to use our product, we recommend trying it out on a very small inconspicuous area before applying to the rest of the shoes.

So i just got some jordan pro strongs and i wanted to know if the water proofer might damage the material since its synthetic leather.

Asked by: Miguel4597
As long as your shoes are not patent leather or vinyl, our Water Proofer should be safe to use on them, but we always recommend reaching out directly to the original manufacturer. Our Water Proofer cannot be used on patent leather or vinyl so just make sure the synthetic leather is not either of those. If you do choose to use our product on your shoes, as always, we recommend testing on a small inconspicuous area and letting it dry completely before applying to the rest of your shoes.

I sprayed this on my sons football cleats and it stained them.  I just bought the cleats and have never been worn.  Once I sprayed this on it stained them.   Is there anything that can take this off of shoes?

Asked by: Riki19
We are so sorry for the issues you have had with our product. You can try to remove the product with a clean damp cloth. The friction of the cloth against the shoes can help remove buildup. If you try this and it does not help, please reach out to us directly with the details and images of your son’s cleats at help@4implus.com in order for us to better assist you and investigate further.

Does this work for kyrie 3’s

Asked by: Qshaff204
Our Water Proofer is meant to be used on athletic shoes unless the material of the shoe is vinyl or patent leather. We would recommend contacting Nike directly to see if they would advise you to use this product on your shoes. If you do apply the product, be sure to test on a small inconspicuous area first before applying over the entire shoe.

WATER_PROOFER is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was in disbelief. I sprayed this on my suede Vans and a few other pairs of shoes one day. Probably a six months later I was with friends and they decided we would be spontaneous and go to the junk yard. It had rained and poured a few hours earlier and there were huge, deep puddles everywhere. These puddles had tons of other leaked fluids from vehicles along with water. I went to step on a seat laying over a lake of a puddle and the whole thing gave in and I was in the puddle nearly ankle deep in these nice yellow suede sneakers. I jumped out asap and looked at my shoes expecting them to be black from old oil.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not work I bought this from finish line last month and used them on my adidas nmds. I was going to chicago for my sons boot camp graduatiom and saw that it was going to raim that weekend so did another coat just in case. Well it didnt help. My shoes and feet were SOAKED. Thank god i packed extra shoes to wear on the plane otherwise i would have been miserable im soggy shoes. My 150 shoes were RUINED and smell like moldy water. I ended up having to throw them out when i got home. Thanks for nothing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My shoes are ruined I bought this spray a couple days ago and it’s been working like it says but not everything it says is true. In the description it says that it protects against water, dirt and oil. I accidentally dropped oil on my toe box and now they’re stained so this product should not say that it protects against oil if it doesn’t.
